Day 4 on Medfast! I felt pretty awesome. Lots of energy and not hungry at all. I also finally went to the grocery store and got the ingredients to make one of my standby Medifast recipes: The Lean and Green Taco Salad! I haven’t had this since last summer when I was eating it a lot. It was every bit as delicious as I remembered it. This salad was even better because I was finally able to buy Rose’s Salsa again. This is my absolute favorite salsa and tasted amazing on the taco salad.
Okay. Time for all the statistics. Here’s what I ate:
- Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeal
- Vanilla Shake
- Hot Chocolate
- 2 Claussen Dill Pickle Spears
- Lean and Green Taco Salad!!!
- Vanilla Shake
- Chocolate Pudding
I also drank over 2 liters of water, 2 small cups of coffee and 2 beers (during the Championship game).
Starting Weight: 225 (not cool)
Day 2 Weight: 222
Day 3 Weight: 218.5
Day 4 Weight: 217
So, I’m moving in the right direction, feeling great and definitely happy with the results. It would be pretty amazing if I could make it to 215 or under by Day 8. I expect some daily fluctuations in weight from here on out as my system starts to adjust to the calorie reduction.
