31 Days of Medifast – Day 6

Don’t worry, I haven’t already fallen off program. I apologize for the radio silence but I was tweaking a few things here on the site and made a really stupid mistake. The front end stayed up, but I was unable to post or approve comments for a few days. I think I have it all back up and running again. Thanks to everybody who emailed to see how things were going.

The good news is that at the end of the first week, I am firmly at 216 pounds, so I’ve lost 5 pounds. There was a day that dipped under that amount, but as of this morning I was at 216 so that’s what I’m going to go with. There are always going to be fluctuations due to water, etc.

Medifail: I should also mention that I went off program on Friday night with two glasses of red wine – always my downfall.

Day 6: What I Ate

  • Banana Cream Shake
  • Fruit and Nut Crunch Bar
  • Chicken and WIld Rice Soup
  • Dill Pickle Spears
  • Parmesan Cheese Puffs
  • Lean and Green Taco Salad – Still love this!
  • Chocolate Pudding

Day 7: Weigh-In

STARTING WEIGHT (01/04/2010): 221 lbs.
TODAY’S WEIGHT (01/10/2010):
216 lbs.

  1. I’m pulling for you. The one thing I do believe is that after 31 days, a habit will have been formed. It didn’t seem to matter which plan I followed, or what I ate… It was just about sticking with the plan to make the lifestyle change a habit.

  2. Great to see that the pounds are coming off. You should take at least a weekly photo of yourself, to compare with down the road. Was a great motivator for me.

  3. So today is day 6 for me (just starting day 6) I had lost 3 lbs by day 4 but on day 5 I weighed in higher then I did at the start of this. Haven’t had the heart to weigh in since. I haven’t cheated at all. A little nervous that my investment and ambition won’t work.
