  1. I eat a lot of things this way! (I’ve lost 100 lbs on Medifast) Especially love ground buffalo patty, beef, or turkey/chickn! I put everything I would on a burger and it’s just like having a burger! Yum My sometimes treat is Carl Jr.’s low carb burger without the cheese and mayo. 🙂 Red Robin even did a burger for me that way! It’s getting to be fairly common!

    1. It is very encouraging to hear this. I am about to start MediFast and I have over 100lbs to loose. I have been looking for different recipes to use on my lean and green meals. Thanks so much for sharing!

      1. Hi Holm711,
I just read your post from Feb. 13, 2012 and was wondering how Medifast is working for you. Today is my 2nd day on Medifast I also am looking to shed about 100 lbs.
Im so glad to see Lean and Green recipes posted.

  2. I just made my first order today. Talking it over with my lunch buddies at work they all seemed to think I was crazy. I only need to lose 20 lbs. but I feel I could do it. this way. They never read up on Medifast but tell me I could do it on my own or with Weight Watchers. I told them I was going to make them eat their words.

    1. Estelle, I am like you. I only have 20-30 lbs to lose. My friends and family thought I was crazy doing Medifast, but it is working for me. 3 weeks and 11lbs!!! Once I got in the swing and found out what foods I liked, it was easy. Good luck to you!

    2. Go for it, Estelle. I lost 40 lbs on WW, became a lecturer and gained back 80! I’ve lost 85 on this program and the difference is they teach you how to keep it off! That’s why I’m still here finding new ways to use the products. Now I use the ones I like as part of a nutritious snack or a meal in a hurry in addition to eating regular foods (my choice, you can just use regular foods). It says a lot that I would choose to continue to purchase a weight loss product when at goal. That tells you how well this works. Just take the time to make the foods fit your taste while still staying within the plan. I bet you can take 20 lbs off in a month or so if you stick to it.

      1. You are so right Estelle….I have been on the program for 5 weeks. I’ve lost 24 lbs. My first month I lost 20 lbs, so it can be done. I stuck to the program faithfully except was a bit lenient on condiments, but that did not seems to effect my weight loss…i always looked for lowest fat, sugar fee condiments when possible. I too, did Weight Watchers a few years ago…I did lose 40 pounds ( eventually gained 20 back) but it took me over 6 months to lose and I struggled with it. I find I am not humgry on Medifast, as eating every 2-3 hours really works for me. Best of luck, everyone…the programs seems to work.

  3. i had these wraps last night and they were fabulous. i felt totally satisfied. love all the emails. very inspiring and motivating. this is my 3rd day and i have 30 lbs to lose. its a little scary. i LOVE sugar, so it will be a big adjustment.
