Brownies

  • 2 packets hot cocoa
  • 2 packets of chocolate pudding
  • 3 tbs of sugar free chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 4 tbs of almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of 1% milk

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and mix at medium heat for a few minutes until all the ingredients are well mixed and have a thick consistency to them.

Pour the mixture into an air-tight container and place in the fridge for a few hours to cool and harden. After refrigerating, cut equally into 6 squares.

Each brownie counts as 1 Medifast meal.

  1. What about the peanut butter, extract, salt, chocolate syrup, and milk? How do they factor in as only being 1 mf meal? Or do you count them as condiments, healthy fats, optional snacks, etc?
    Thanks for your help?

    1. Hi Rhianna,
My name is Cindy and I am a Registered Dietetic Technician on the Nutrition Support Team here at Medifast. WE do not recommend peanut or almond butter but you can have PB2 from Bell Plantation. 2 tablespoons is one optional snack. Here is the revised recipe.

                   2 packets hot cocoa
             2 packets of chocolate pudding
             3 tbs of sugar free chocolate syrup
             1 tsp of vanilla extract
                   4 tbs of PB2
                   1/2 tsp of salt
             1/2 cup of Blue Diamond unsweetened almond milk

      Makes 4 servings
      Per serving
      1 Medifast meal replacement
      ½ optional snack
      1 ¾ condiments

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and mix at medium heat for a few minutes until all the ingredients are well mixed and have a thick consistency to them.
Pour the mixture into an air-tight container and place in the fridge for a few hours to cool and harden. After refrigerating, cut equally into 4 squares.

    1. I sent a message to Nutrition Support as I had the same questions. I’ll post their response when I hear back.
