Rumors have been circulating for awhile now, but it looks like new Medifast products are being released on Monday (July 20). The image above is something I found lurking at the bottom of the official Medifast forums. If you dig around the forums you can find reports from people who have tasted these at various Medifast events.
Here’s what I can put together so far:
- 1. These will count as meals and not snacks.
- 2. There will be pretzels in Honey Mustard and Cinnamon flavors.
- 3. There will be cheese puffs in Parmesan and Chili Nacho flavors (Kick Ass!)
This is pretty exciting, because my my main problem (other than the fact that I really, really like whiskey) is that I miss crunchy, salty food. I will be all over the Cheese Puffs for sure and maybe the pretzels, too. I wish there was a basic old-school “Salty” flavor pretzel, but I can dream.

These look pretty exciting. I like that Medifast is starting to inch towards a better product design and make their products look more like food as opposed to something you might get in a hospital.

DANG…just got my order today….may have to order some of these anyway on Monday! Bet they sell out quick……
I should be getting these in soon and will have a review up as soon as I can eat them.
