Back on Medifast – Weight Loss Phase Two

After a two month break, I go back on Medifast to lose the rest of the weight. I make the decision to go hard-core in July and attempt to lose 23 pounds.

I’m back on Medifast and back on this blog. May and June were an incredibly chaotic and stressful period in my “professional” life. Blogging (and weight loss) were the last things on my mind. As part of the fallout from that project, I find myself temporarily unemployed and with some spare time on my hands. I will be putting some of my extra energy into my new weight loss goals and to documenting my experiments here. I will also be bringing over the posts from the old blogspot blog and consolidating everything into one big Get Skinny Be Happy! site.

The good news: Despite the very stressful previous two months in which I dropped off Medifast completely and ate a lot of junk food on a very irregular schedule – I only gained four pounds. Right now I am clocking in at 223. I know that gaining four pounds could be looked at as a failure, but I expected it to be a lot worse. However, I do feel a lot worse after sliding back into junk food (and alcohol).

My goal for July: I am going to go hardcore on Medifast for the rest of the month. I’m going to follow it to a tee and drink the right amount of water and completely eliminate alcohol. Based on my past results, I think I should be able to break 210 pounds (13 pounds lost). I will be recording my progress here and once again calling upon the readers for tips, advice and support.

I’ve already drank my Medifast Cappucino for the morning. Ketosis here I come!
