Home Workout Guide

The primary focus of this site is healthy and quick weight loss with Medifast, but just getting skinny is not the ultimate goal. The goal is to get healthy and happy. Fitness and exercise are also important parts of that plan.

A Home Workout Plan Could Save Your Life

Just because you’re not overweight, doesn’t mean you are fit. Physical activity is a crucial component to living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Here are a few sobering facts from the World Health Organization.

  • Exercise can keep you alive. Every year an average 1.9 million people die as a result of physical inactivity.
  • Exercise can keep you healthy. Studies have shown that just 30 minutes of moderate exercise 5 days a week reduces the risk of several noncommunicable diseases.
  • In 2005 alone, more than 35 million people died of non-communicable diseases. This represents 60% of all deaths worldwide.
  • Deaths from Non-communicable diseases will increase by 17% between 2005 and 2015.

A regular home workout program will help you lose weight, tone up your body and ward off disease. It also has a few pleasant side effects: Improved self-confidence. Increased energy. Reduced Stress and Anxiety. Improved productivity. Enhanced Quality of Life.

But you already know that exercise and physical activity is important and you don’t need to hear any more scare stories. Instead, let’s figure out a way to remove the barriers so you can implement a simple home workout program that actually works for you.

Home Workout vs. a Gym Membership.

Gym memberships provide many benefits, but I have found great satisfaction in a simple home fitness program. I’ve joined many gyms over the course of my life. The only thing I’ve really achieved from these memberships was a monthly reduction in my bank account and a self of self-satisfaction that I was taking steps to improve my health. After working out 3-4 times, I quickly allowed myself to lapse and rarely went back.

There are a few reasons why gym memberships never really worked for me.

Home Workout Provides Privacy.
I know I’m not alone in that fact that at my heaviest weight, I was uncomfortable exercising in front of other people at the gum. The great thing about a home fitness program is that it provides privacy. You aren’t competing with anyone – even if this competition is primarily in your own head. You don’t have to worry about your gym clothes or what you look like when you are jiggling around on the Stairmaster.

Home Workout Eliminates Expenses
There are no monthly contracts. You might invest a little cash in some simple home fitness equipment (yoga mats, weights, etc.), but you can basically start your exercise program for free. If you take my recommendations, you’ll definitely spend less than a month’s membership at most gyms.

Home Workout is Convenient
If you can grab 15-20 minutes, you have time for a home fitness workout. You don’t have to budget in time from driving to and from the gym. You can squeeze in a workout first thing in the morning and then jump in the shower, eliminating the need for an extra post-gym shower. A simple home workout program will allow you to integrate your exercise into your life in a natural way. If you’re traveling, you can even perform these exercises in your hotel room.

The GS!BH! Home Workout Plan

We are going to remove every obstacle and every excuse. We will start with a short, simple and absolutely free home fitness plan. The program is not designed to help you lose weight or get you “ripped.” Instead, it’s designed to strengthen and tone your body without expensive equipment. Remember, your body works as a unit and if you are weak in one area, it can cause injury and strain in other areas.

All that’s required of you is that you make a commitment to yourself and just do it!

  1. Everything you say is true. I am reading Convict Conditioning 🙂

Try it, it’s based on how convicts train in their cells to get buff with no equipment. Cheesy title I know, but the book is AWESOME!
