Sounds like you are doing great. One of the things that has saved me is pickle spears. I never realized how much I would love pickles. I suggest Claussen brand pickles because they are way crunchier. But, this advice is only good for people who like pickles.

Day 2 conquered! I found myself a little hungry around the middle of the day - between lunch and my mid-afternoon meal. So I ate a couple pieces of celery and with some fat-free cream cheese to hold me over and that helped. I stepped on the scale this morning, and I lost 3.2 pounds! Total weighloss with Medifast = 5.2 pounds in just 2 days! Total weight loss since I started watching what I've been eating on January 4th - 12.2 pounds!

I will definitely keep you updated on my progress!

Hey Briana - Thanks for your Comment. That is Awesome! I'm excited to hear how much you've lost by the end of week 1. I think if you were enthusiastic to do Lean and Green meals while waiting for your shipment, you are going to do amazingly well. Most people I talk to spend the week before starting Medifast eating all the junk food that they are going to be so sad to part with. You've definitely got the right attitude. Keep us up to date on your progress!

That sounds great. That's a really impressive weight loss. I think the weight loss gets slower the closer you get to your target weight. So I am anticipating that this last 30 pounds is going to be the hardest for me. I think my target range is 185-190 and I have no idea when I last weighed so little. It will be interesting.

I haven't figured out my internal demon either and will probably be fighting with it for the rest of my life.

Hi everyone!

I just started Medifast yesterday. I decided to start after my aunt told me about her success with it. She's lost around 55 pounds in only 3 months! She told me all about the program. I was so excited that I wanted to start right away, but obviously couldn't because it would be a little while before my starter package ended up on my front step. So in the 7 days of waiting for my package to come, I decided to eat nothing but lean and green in the meantime. I dropped 8 pounds in a week! I couldn't believe it! I've never been able to lose that much weight that fast! It almost made me feel like I was on the biggest loser (only without all the excercise)! So I finally got my package in the mail on Tuesday and I started the Medifast program yesterday (Wednesday). When I woke up this morning (Thursday), I stepped on the scale. Down 2 pounds in 1 day! I did get kind of hungry throughout the day yesterday, but I stuck it out because I knew how successful the program is. Today, I have more energy than yesterday. I can't wait to get past day 3 and see how fast the weight comes off!

Good article.... My early weeks of weight loss were 11lbs then down to 6lbs then down to 4lbs for a few weeks, I have settled in the 2-3lbs/week range. At first I was disappointed by this since I thought I was starving myself and should be dropping the weight quicker. However, now that it has been a few months of 2lbs a week, I am glad the weight loss has been slow and steady. It gives me more confidence that I can keep it off long-term. It took years to go from 185 in high school to 263 lbs when I started in September. I am now at 209, and hoping to hit 185 by 4/15. Then I want to make sure I stay within 180-185.

I haven't yet figured out that hidden deamon that gives me the urge to eat too much, but hopefully I can figure that out...
