Quick Weight Loss Experiment – Day 3

Yesterday was a tough one because I went with my family to the State Fair. It was a perfect storm of eating temptations.

Corn Dogs.

Indian Tacos.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes on a Stick. (What?)

Luckily I had Medifast Crunch Bars.

It was great weather, the crowds were small and a really fun day. In a situation like this, it’s easy to get into the mindset of celebratory eating. After all the State Fair only rolls around once a year.

And isn’t eating ridiculous fried foods impaled on sticks the whole point of going to the State Fair?

Plus, there are all the sights, smells and other psychological triggers that really make you want to eat a freaking corn dog. I will admit that it was tough.

But at the end of the day, I can honestly look back on it and realize that I had a great time and my great time did not depend on eating food.
